Andrew

Founder and CEO of Trading Sciences

Andrew is a proven leader with an extensive knowledge of the Equity Market that he has been trading since 2015 for several investment banks such as HSBC, Commerzbank and Natixis, where he was working as an Equity Derivatives Trader Vice President in charge of the Index book (up to 6bln$ of asset under management).

After leaving his role in 2021, he became an independent trader and created Trading Sciences, an educational trading company, to transmit the knowledge acquired during his career and make trading more accessible to everyone. He is also the Academic Director of EWAT, a newly created trading school based in Dubai opening in 2022.

Prior to his professional experience, Andrew graduated from a double Master degree at ESTP and ESSEC which are prestigious French Engineering and Business Schools

 

Laurent LEFEVERE

Partner, Coach and Trader at Trading Sciences

Laurent Lefevere is a business builder with deep trading and commodity risk-management experience and is currently based in Panama. He is an experienced independent trader using a local investment vehicle for his personal investments. Prior to manage his own funds, Laurent acquired his experience working at Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) where he was trading the commodities complex.

During his 10-year tenure at BAML, where Laurent was a Vice President, he managed the commodity exchange-traded products book with more than 4bln$ of assets under management. He was also in charge of the optimisation of the books from a trading perspective and an operational perspective yielding extra performance in multi million dollars for the firm.

Prior to joining BAML, Laurent studied at ESSEC Business School, one of the most prestigious French Business schools, where he finished top of his class. He also has an engineering degree in IT and a Master in management.
